Even Patton, excellent as the smooth Atlanta cop on the convict's trail, can't save this mediocre descent into kiss-kiss-bang-bang clichés and one-note gags.

Reviews for Fled
Despite all efforts by its notable cast, the film suffers from an incohesive plot that tries to provide drama, action and comedy only to lose focus and fail to accomplish any of its aims.
Fled is a movie without a brain in its head, and it borrows cheerfully from lots of other movies, but at least it has the integrity to acknowledge its sources.
The plot makes a couple of jumps that don't seem to make sense except to advance to yet another action scene. If only those scenes were worth the wait.
On the plus side, at least for this type of effort, there is a new type of Chinese torture, tampon bandages, numerous film trivia allusions, bullets through peepholes, lots of women as strippers (Oh, not again!!), and a fine soundtrack produced by wunderk
Grotesquely violent, ridiculously bloody and tries to get by on a silly, wink-at-the-camera attitude.
A successful summer diversion, the kind of film you start forgetting the moment it's over but is fun while you're watching it.
A generic buddy-buddy actioner that's not as slick as it thinks it is...pointless and forgettable
The situations are so ludicrous and the screenplay so barren of wit that the best it can come up with in the way of jokey humor is to have the characters compare their adventures to scenes in other movies.
Most of non-action scenes are dead serious, and in those moments Fled becomes unbearably cliched and tedious.
While not an altogether unsatisfying experience, it leaves the viewer yearning to see the originals instead.
