In a conventional, tried and true way, Foolin' Around tells the predictable story of a couple of widely divergent students who fall in love against all odds. Wes (Gary Busey) is attending a well-endowed college when he signs up for a psychology experiment and meets Susan (Annette O'Toole), a young woman from a terribly rich family.
