Looks like the MPAA is in need of some schooling. 1st with allowing full frontal nudity reserved for X flicks to pop up in R. Now with films who fail to disclose Fiction as Fiction.

the 4th kind was not even remotely scary....how many times did the producers watch this and say..."what we need is more title cards and explanations as to who is speaking and who they are because the audience is nothing but idiots." Oh I see now, Joe Carnahan was one of the producers....now it makes since! what a hack!
if this movie scares you, you're either 6 years old or you're a complete weenie. this movie was TERRIBLE. check out the "real footage" outtakes on the DVD. this is some of the worst acting i've ever seen. i can only wonder who the producers tagged as their target audience.
If you are someone with a short attention span everything will be hard to scare you, Michael. Did you watch it in cinema or did you rent it out, leave the lights on with lots of background noise and writing all the time? You have to turn the lights off. Dont write the first time round. Pay your FULL attention to the movie. Otherwise you miss out little things and its not as scary. Its all in your subconscious fool.
All the sounds, what you see. You cant get the full effect if you dont keep an open mind and let yourself go.
Oh, and did you think about what other people said when you saw it? Tell me you didnt google it. Or youtube it. Because it makes you subconciously bias. keeping an open mind and watching a film with no knowledge of whats to come, is where you get the full effect.
Not scary at all! I can see the director thinks were closed minded (Idiots) The only idiot he shows is himself. Although if you guys want to believe in aliens and UFO's, by all means go for it!
However, I hate it when people try to shove down they're beliefs down my throat like they did in this movie! Okay we get it! You believe in Aliens! Also the film is just not scary at all, its long, dull, and clumsy! And it doesn't take much digging on the internet to find out that this was all false! That's another thing I hated about this film!
The fact that the director really tried to convince us this was all based on true evens in Nome, Alaska even though its not! Not once did he mention that this was a work of fiction based on disappearances in Alaska, that did NOT involve extra terrestrials at all! Even the FBI commented that the movie exaggerated on how many times they investigated. Truly a terrible movie orchestrated by a hack director who let his ignorance ruin what could have been a truly scary movie for the books!
HATE HULK
YES YES YES YES Michael, seriously. The acting was killer and the intensity was GREAT.
