FOYLE'S WAR is a drama series that boasts a marriage of history and fictional mystery. Actor Michael Kitchen stars in the title role of Christopher Foyle, an English police inspector who fights local crimes in an environment riddled with war propaganda and social turmoil. In this episode, "Eagle Day," Detective Foyle happens upon a plot to steal valuable treasures from a local museum.
