Audience Reviews for Frazetta: Painting with Fire

An interesting look at a genre icon. Frazetta's art was truly revolutionary in bringing sci-fi/fantasy paintings into the public eye. Very interesting look at the man.

Super Reviewer

I had heard that around the time that this doc had been released there was a resurgence in the animosity, coming from the politically correct right-wing groups, about the imagery depicted, specifically, in the Death Dealer artwork that amounted to death threat's against Frank Frazetta & Glenn Danzig. (If this is even true then they were obviously much more nasty when Verotik was first created & the "Death Dealer" comic's were first published, in the 90's.)

If this is true then it's a shame that they didn't cover this in the film.
