Elvis Presley stars as Mike Windgren, a former trapeze artist who's suffered from vertigo ever since accidentally dropping his partner during a performance. Working as a lifeguard/entertainer at an Acapulco resort, Mike falls in love with social director Margarita Dauphine (Ursula Andress). With her help, he overcomes his fear of heights in a spectacular high-dive finale. The good news is that it's no worse than Elvis' usual underachieving musicals and the songs he sings though not great are at least bearable.

This was a pretty good movie. Elvis starts out working on a boat but gets fired and works for the Hilton. Interesting story, that he used to be in a circus, but due to a tragedy no longer is with the circus. I like the way he has two love interests in this movie, one being Ursula Andress. It's cool the way he gets his confidence back.

Elvis never went to Mexico, as most of his scenes were filmed in U.S. but I assume Mexicans would be proud of this legend singing a Mexican Song at the end, and becoming friendly towards most
