Just consider A Tail of Two Kitties more endurable, more a movie than Garfield: The Movie, and you won't be too disappointed.

This is lowest common denominator movie-making. It's all obvious and synthetic, derivative to the point of plagiarism.

There's something kind of strange about a bunch of animals cooking in a kitchen, when many of those animals would normally be getting cooked in a kitchen. But that is the least of this movie's problems.

The 'best' part is that it looks better than the previous Garfield movie, where the computer-animated kitty's weird glow made him resemble a nightlight that couldn't decide if it wanted to soothe or terrify kids.

The first film was one of the worst movies I've ever seen, its sequel though is simply a dull family feature. An improvement I guess

Nothing happens that you haven't seen before, although if you haven't seen it before (you would have to be younger than 3), you might crack a smile or two.

In the second Garfield movie, the indignities are as enormous as the food bills.

Instead of eliciting anger like the last film did, this installment merely bores. That's progress to me.

It's really unnerving to have to sit through a second Garfield when the first was just so excruciating. But alas, here we are again--and now there's two of them. Joy.

The computer animation of the two cats is once again excellent, but the novelty has worn off.

Kids should see Garfield: A Tale of Two Kitties. It'll help prepare them for a lifetime of mediocre entertainment ahead.

There's still not much of a script.

It was the worst of times, it was the worst of times. Sorry, couldn't help it. With a title like Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties, the bad Dickens puns are irresistible.

It's too bad that curiosity didn't kill this particular cat. However, the rest of us will find more stimulating time mindlessly playing with a ball of yarn.

Your kids may beg and plead with you to take them to Garfield 2, but when they become teenagers you'll get the blame for acquiescing.

This movie is so bad, you could shoot Garfield and even PETA would not object.

If you're over eight years old... it'd be best to avoid this, lest your good opinions of snarksters like Bill Murray, Billy Connolly, and Tim Curry be forever besmirched...
