Audience Reviews for Geoul sokeuro (Into the Mirror)

Interesting but fairly flat. Deals with a lot of imagery and twists seen before in Asian horror and can't exactly find an original angle. Luckily it's all very professional and enjoyable enough but there are plenty of better examples out there.

Ok but hardly great horror flick from asia, yet about a female ghost looking for revenge. To it's credit this one doesn't play with the already tired imagery that asian horror has been using in the post ringu era. Lead man Yu Ji Tae deserves way better roles than this one.

Adding redundancy to the irony, that Aja guy (the hack that directed Haute Tension) is suppose to direct a remake of this. Those hollywood guys never get tired huh?

Not as scary as the other korean horror flicks that I've seen, a bit slow-paced too. There were just a few jump-scenes, most at the early part of the movie.

By the way, the Hollywood movie Mirrors was based on this.
