Audience Reviews for Get a Clue

Forget acting, script, character, reality. You can forget originality too. The only thing this film has going for it - apart from it's 80 minute run time is an alright plot that throws up lots of red herrings before the big reveal at the end - only for this to be ruined by...SPOILER AHEAD

The guy (or woman in the alt ending)who framed the guy who faked his own death used the money to buy a really nice jewel, had it made into a brooch then left it in the bank where the mother of the guy who was framed found it and wore it for ten years without knowing until Lohan comes along suddenly knowing about rare gems and recognises it right at the last minute and saves the day and the bad guy (or woman depending on which ending you see) goes to jail, and Lohan decides she might decide to become a detective/reporter.

Hahaha, well Disney certainly know how to make uinteresting movies. I can't believe I watched the whole thing. Kind of cute at some points, but sooo boring and obvious (shouldn't have expected anything else). Yeah-yeah, I guess it was OK.

Trust no one. Question everything. Get A Clue. The pampered rich Lexy Gold spends her life amongst the wealthy and elite of Manhattan, boasting herself on her ability to write on the school newspaper's gossip column. When Mr. Walker mysteriously goes missing, Lexy and her working-class friends Jack, Jenn, and Gabe set out to solve the crime case that would eventually save their favorite teacher's life.

Get A Clue features great acting performances from the following cast:
1.) Lindsay Lohan (Lexy Gold)
2.) Bug Hall (Jack Downey)
3.) Ian Gomez (Mr. Walker)
4.) Brenda Song (Jenn)
5.) Ali Mukkadam (Gabe)

Not only that I'm amazed of the film's featured espionage, I'm also surprised that it takes place in Manhattan, and the kids are rich and are into the latest fashions. Still fresh from her cute and clean child star appearance, Lindsay Lohan does her good job in acting while doing Lexy's job as a gossip columnist, making her an original Gossip Girl for the junior high set, minus the queen bee personality, thank goodness. Get A Clue is a great old school Disney Channel film, in an early 21st century era untouched by the tween school music madness.
