Joe: Retaliation, starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Channing Tatum); body snatchers (The Host, starring Saoirse Ronan and Diane Kruger); and a passionate marriage counselor (Temptation, starring Jurnee Smollett-Bell and Lance Gross). I never expected anything more from GI Joe- and who was surprised about "The Host"- not to be confused with the Korean movie of the same name!

If I was a castmember of "The Host", I would fire my agent.

It's probably gonna make a fortune though with all the twi-hards flocking in droves.

don't be so sure, they did not flock to the book. Regular human guy in love with possessed alien hybrid emo chick just doesn't have the same appeal to them as shirtless teenage were-wolf.

I doubt it, it will probably turn out like Beautiful Creatures.

The cast of that was so Cool too. What is it about a well casted film directed at teens that causes it to Flop?

Because not every book based movie becomes a mega hit like Twilight or The Hunger Games.

Now that you've said it, I'm all in, even though I wasn't the biggest "Blue Valentine" fan.

the main review for G.I. Joe 2 said it was "overwhelmed with nonstop action...", most average action movies use that as a positive review to put in their trailer haha

Does The Host is based on a Korean movie? I've never heard of that.

Another Tyler Perry movie, another year, another disappointment. 20% for Temptation.

The english title directed by Bong Joon-ho released in 2006 is also called "The Host"!

This Host has no relation at all to the Korean 'The Host', which was a monster movie.

I wish there was a theater nearby that was showing Room 237, Kubrick was a fascinating man and I would love to learn what people thought about The Shining (my favorite horror movie of all time)

It was a lot of fun. Obviously not a masterpiece although it seemed like Citizen Kane compared to Transformers or Pirates or a lot of other "action" movies

I REALLY LIKED it, and I think it's getting far worse reviews than it deserves. It's no masterpiece, but it is awesome.

I thought it was mediocre. Would have been better if Duke was in it more since I liked the scenes between him and Roadblock. But it was at least miles better than The Rise of Cobra, which I thought was crap.

Wow look at the vomit Hollywood is spewing up on the big screen this month. Star Trek better not suck and if it does I think I'll just give up on movies for the rest of the year.
