I HAVE BEEN A FAN OF GIJOE SINCE 81. I HAVE ALL THE COMICS, ALL TOYS AND ALL CARTOONS ON DVD. AND I LOVED THE MOVIE. WHY? BECAUSE I DID NOT EXPECT IT TO BE ANOTHER LORD OF THE RINGS !! ITS A FUN MOVIE BASED ON A BLOODY TOY!

How anyone could sit through this horrid abortion of a movie without turning the stereo to "11" is beyond me. Other than a few decent fight scenes with Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow, this was one of the worst adeptations of a beloved (by me and many others) franchise to date.... Where does Hollywood get the idea that it's ok for them to make up their own origins, stories, and characters when the originals are already firmly established? Who writes this ****? To summarize, I'm glad I didn't waste the money in theater to see another of my fond childhood toys be made into another terrible movie. One of these days they (Hollywood) should actually get a few fans together to write these movies, rather than a bunch of overweight jews who have never even read a GIJOE comic book or played with the action figures. It started with the absolute raping of Spider-man, and continues with the *** pounding of transformers. Stick to the main story, and you've already got a recipie for success. There's an old saying: If it ain't broke..... Don't **** with it.

Rape of Spider-man? What the **** were you watching? The 1st 2 movies are near perfection. As for G.I. Joe it was actually somewhat okay. Certainly better than most of the crap this summer like Transformers, Terminator Salvation, and Wolverine.
