Weird...I saw this movie with my Dad and he said the same thing, that it reminded him of older Bond movies. I honestly don't get that at all, but whatever.

I found it to be a fun, action-packed time at the theater. Perhaps it was helped by the fact that all other summer-blockbuster type movies this summer weren't fun, and were largely disappointing, but it was still entertaining/fun enough that I watched it twice.
