Movie Info

"El Rancho," a sort of punk rock Animal House, is the setting for this college drama. Five roommates live in this group house on the cusp of college graduation. Jack (a mohawk-wearing Ben Affleck) is an art major pining over his ex-girlfriend, while Rob (Sam Rockwell) fears domestication after graduation. The artist of a popular campus comic strip, Mickey (Vinnie DeRamus), is still too shy to talk to girls. Slosh (Vien Hong) is an A-student who gave up his education in favor of drinking and

Glory Daze is yet another of those "post-college angst ridden party boys get semtimental about moving on" kinda things, one that's notable solely because of its eclectic cast and very little else.

Audience Reviews for Glory Daze

About some college graduates who after all there time in college still don't have the slightest clue on what they want to do in life. It was an OK movie. It stars a young Ben Affleck. It was just some mediocre acting, Nothing speacial about this movie. Not worth seeing again.

A fun look at people who aren't ready to move on after college. They fear that all the fun is about to go away as they are forced into the real world. Good acting by up and coming folks and good characters.

This was filmed at the University of Santa Cruz, wear a bunch of my friends went and I pucked several times.

Worth seeing just for Matthew McConaughey as the sleazy car salesman.

    1. Jack: I was beginning to think fuck it! One more spin on the merry go round.
