You 3 are morons... She is obviously not using the term "family" to say you should take the kiddies along to watch... It is clearly a reference to the Corleone Family aka the ultimate Mafia Family.
THANK YOU TommyDons for pointing out the painfully obvious. To expand upon your point, and probably Dave Kehr's, I cannot name a single film with a more deeply developed family (in the literal sense) than this one.
Id just like to join my F brothers in laughing at the first three fools who posted, and also to confirm that yes, even after initially conflicting reports, Dave Kehr is a male.
you are just so wrong sometimes Dave, you know that? I mean usually, I believe people just have different opinions, but sometimes you are just so wrong. By family I hope you mean about a family.
Can someone please tell me how Dave Kehr is a top critic on Rotten Tomatoes? Either this is a pun (which really wouldn't be funny as he is reviewing a serious crime drama) or has terrible phrasing (meant to say "The ultimate film about family"?). I question Dave's validity as a top critic as I've read some of his other reviews and they seem bizarre. His comment about Richard Burton and Clint Eastwood's clash of acting styles being the real violence in 1967's 'Where Eagles Dare' is absolutely bizarre. What does he expect? Both lead actors to have the same acting style? They are two different characters from two different countries with two different backstories! Of course their "acting styles" are going to contrast!
Dave Kehr, what are you trying to prove? and what the hell is up with your hair?
Jennifer Ann Watt
I would hardly call it the ultimate family movie, i know i wouldn't have invited my faily along with me.
