Deniro is a great actor (although he has made some strange choices in roles -Fearless Leader..?). Pacino is great too. So far, it sounds like it will be good.

I, for one, am a fan of big movie stars joining for a project, and pretending to shoot each other. Maybe Deniro can kill Al this time.

Finally, De Niro and Pacino together for a full movie ... "Louis, this could be the start of a beautiful friendship.”

I think the draw and greatness of Heat was that they were only in two scenes together. The anticipation was a nice "outside the movie" subplot.

Hopefully, this project won't be the typical buddy cop movie where one guy is anal and the other is a hippy.

I just hope this isn't some kind of career summing movie where they play parodies of themselves as they seem to have done lately.

But yes, cool news! Just give us a good story and good dialogue!

Pacino and De Niro are both great actors, but have been past their prime for a while now. Neither has been in a movie lately deserving of their talent and presence, but hopefully this is the one. However, from the looks of the plot this film looks like drek. Two cops searching for a serial killer??? NO WAY!!! I have never seen that before!!! Maybe one will be a cop like Dirty Harry and the other will be by the books and one will die at the end. That would be so original. Sorry, but I had to say that sarcasm.

dreck (drk)
n. Slang
Trash, especially inferior merchandise.
[German, dirt, trash and Yiddish drek, excrement, both from Middle High German drec, from Old High German; see sker-3 in Indo-European roots.]

We're talking Pacino & DeNiro, not Van Damme and Seagal...

I said the plot looks like dreck. Not the actors or the talent attached to it.
