Critic Review - Kansas City Star

The production's blend of traditional cowboy tropes and 20th-century elements give it an out-of-time feel that's appropriate for what is basically a teenage boy's extended fantasy.

Tropes???? Tropes???? What are you trying to do? Write a review or impress us with your use of obscure words??? Stupid critics, most should be cast into the sea!

Butler doesn't like ANYTHING. Most of his reviews have the same pissy "better than thou" attitude that makes you want to puke.

You don't know what a trope is? Anyone interested in writing knows what a trope is. google TVtropes and browse the website a bit. Tropes are little concepts that are in every piece of media. For example: A passive character that gets beaten up all the time, but suddenly becomes badass and beats up his bullies when they choose to hit a girl.
