An interesting cast, plenty of action, and a decent story makes Kim's action comedy a must watch for people wanting an exciting, funny, Japanese action movie. Also, Byung-hun Lee looks smoking hot in this film and is one of the coolest looking antagonists ever!

Containing some fiery sequences, as well as some humourous moments, especially the awesome climactic thirty-minute chase scene, this is a movie that fans of Western and Asian action will surely enjoy.

Loved it! My favorite Korean Western, must see if you don't mind reading subtitles, dubs are usually terrible, doesn't do the characters or dialogue any justice

This Sergio Leone-inspired Korean Western is well directed, funny and thoroughly entertaining especially for fans of Spaghetti Westerns, pretty much like Tarantino's well-known pastiches, but it is also overlong and doesn't seem to know how to end.

This film is as good as the film that inspired it. The Good, the bad and the weird is full of energy, packed with terrific VFX and action sequences and is a prime example of what westerns should be. Unlike the American westerns, this Korean film is well paced and is shot extensively well. The three actors are good and the final showdown I believe is better than that of the original.

A bizarre, yet very entertaining film.

A fun movie in it's own right, yet hard not to compare to the classic climax in the spaghetti western of a similar title. It is a fun and wild ride dealing with three different determined gunslingers, two of which seek a buried treasure along with three different groups/armies while the other looks to collect his bounty. The action is impressive and the plot twists are pretty darn good, you can't ask for anymore for what this movie is meant to be: an absurd yet wildly entertaining Korean spaghetti western.

Extremely entertaining Korean take-off on 1960s Italian spaghetti westerns.

Even with as frivolous as this movie is, it's still a fun and somewhat epic adventure.

I'm not sure that the Sergio Leone comparison invoked by the title is all that apt, but this is a marvellously fun action epic in it's own right. While it does involve what is effectively a long chase between three characters all seeking the same item, stylistically, this couldn't be less like Leone. It's energetic and constantly moving in a way Leone never is. While it never reaches his level of epic elegance, it starts with an amazing action set piece and moves rapidly through a series of them that are at times truly outstanding.

Solid entertainment.

If the movie was dubbed over, i would be able to watch it more than read it. From watching what i could, it has the same time period and effects of an excellent Indiana Jones movie. If they took this movie and put Indiana Jones in it, this would have made a better sequel than the kingdom of the crystal skull crap.
