Halle Berry Says "No, Again" to Catwoman
Just a few weeks ago Halle Berry was telling everyone that there would never be a "Storm" spinoff movie (as if anyone actually expected one), and now she's on record as saying that if the "Catwoman" character is ever resurrected for a "Justice League" movie ... she won't be expecting any phone calls.

Anyone out there actually believe that Fox would ever produce a "Storm" spinoff? Nope, didn't think so. But Halle Berry must have thought it was a possibility, which is why she pre-emptively decided "Nope, not gonna happen."

Vin Diesel to Star in "Babylon A.D."
Aside from that fact-based courtroom flick from a few months back ("Find Me Guilty"), we haven't seen a whole lot of Vin Diesel lately. Now comes word that the gruff-talkin' movie star is about to begin production on "Babylon A.D.," a sci-fi action flick from the director of "Gothika."

Trailer Bulletin: Hilary Swank in "The Reaping"
Those Dark Castle guys are at it again. From the studio that brought you "Ghost Ship," "Gothika," and "House of Wax" comes "The Reaping" -- which deals with biblical plagues, haunted towns, and huge swarms of bugs. Two-time Oscar winner Hilary Swank is the star.

Who's Ready for Another Trip to "Haunted Hill"?
Bloody-Disgusting.com (arguably the best horror site out there) is reporting that Dark Castle Entertainment (the guys behind "Ghost Ship," "Gothika," and "House of Wax") are planning to make a movie called "Return to House on Haunted Hill," which (of course) is a sequel to "House on Haunted Hill," which (of course) is a remake of "House on Haunted Hill."

The man, the myth, the -- casino king? Ocean's Eleven star George Clooney, the one-man Rat Pack Redux of the new millennium, has revealed long-rumored plans to erect a $3 billion Las Vegas resort. Named Las Ramblas, the resort will include a hotel, casino, and high-end condominiums; Clooney, along with partner Rande Gerber (nightclub impresario and husband of Cindy Crawford), plans to purchase a residence for himself on the resort grounds.

Fincher Signs on for Double Duty at Paramount & WB
Movie fan favorite David Fincher ("Fight Club," "Seven") has signed with Paramount to (finally) direct a pair of oft-discussed projects, says Variety. First up for the celebrated filmmaker is "Zodiac," which is based on a pair of true crime books about a serial killer who stalked San Francisco in the late 1960's.

Kassovitz Heads Out to "Babylon A.D."
Actor/writer/director Mathieu Kassovitz ("Hate," "Gothika," "The Crimson Rivers") will write and direct a movie based on the Maurice Dentac novel "Babylon Babies," says Variety. Fox will bankroll the big-budget sci-fi thriller, which is described as such: "(The) story is set in the near future and concerns genetic manipulation. In the book, a mercenary charged with delivering a young woman from Russia to Canada learns that she has been manipulated by a synthetic virus and what lies inside her could doom the human race."
