on Mar 20 2007 12:26 PM I have seen this movie. In Spain was released a few months ago. Its not a good movie. Actors are nice, but plot is boring, I wasn´t able to wait and see the films end. Here is was not a box office suceess. I think people waited much more! (Reply to this) |
![]() on Mar 20 2007 01:22 PM Yeah she's a really pretty girl, but is she really the type that people are desperate to see naked? I sure don't think so. (Reply to this) |

on Mar 20 2007 01:51 PM In reply to this comment (#858793) i'm sure most of the people who want to see her naked could paste her face on pictures from their own childhood and nobody could tell the difference. she's a very pretty girl, but come on guys. love your name flim! (Reply to this) |

on Mar 20 2007 02:19 PM I am interested in seeing the movie, but that is a body double of Portman, despite what this article says. It's pretty obvious since you only see Portman's face in closeups. Sorry folks. (Reply to this) |

on Mar 20 2007 03:05 PM So Jen Yamoto, when do you graduate from grade school? This childish article of yours about Natalie Portman appearing nude in a movie is something you'd expect from a grade five boy who just experienced his first woody. (Reply to this) |

on Mar 20 2007 04:12 PM In reply to this comment (#858793) " Yeah she's a really pretty girl, but is she really the type that people are desperate to see naked? I sure don't think so." That type being a `really pretty girl'? I would think most hetrosexual males would be up for it. (Reply to this) |

on Mar 20 2007 04:15 PM "Nude" isn't going to hold a candle to that sexy getup she wore to seduce the bishop in V for Vendetta. Shwing! (Reply to this) |
![]() on Mar 20 2007 04:37 PM In reply to this comment (#858798) Hi Needles! I've already graduated from grade school (believe it or not) but I do this for all the fifth graders (or fifth graders at heart) out there in RT-Land. And it's Yamato. Good job. (Reply to this) |

on Mar 20 2007 06:13 PM I don't want to sound like a killjoy, but I just don't understand why this is a big deal. Is it because of who it is? I don't know. I mean, the first two movies I saw with Naomi Watts, she was getting banged by Sean Penn and then going down on another chick. So she's nude, big whoop. (Reply to this) |

on Mar 20 2007 07:10 PM In reply to this comment (#858805) You don't understand what the attraction is to seeing a beautiful woman naked, especially one with the reputation of Natalie Portman? Uhh, okay. (Reply to this) |
|
on Mar 20 2007 10:29 PM Why is everyone saying this is very disturbing. I watched the scenes and didnt feel disturbed at all. Are there any others that think this wasnt that disturbing, or am I just some cold-hearted misanthrope? (Reply to this) |

on Mar 20 2007 10:34 PM Wow- Just can't wait for ANOTHER movie with more evil 'Christians' - I just can't get enough! Christians are really the cause of all the worlds problems - keep em coming you inbred hollywood hicks! (Reply to this) |

on Mar 21 2007 08:37 AM Oh NO! It's a movie with evil Christians in it! Hey, you know, last time I checked the Spanish Inquisition was pretty evil. Stop being presumptuous and thinking that everyone in Hollywood is out to ruin your religion. In any case, what's the big deal with the "nudity" in this movie? So what? I think we need to get over our "ooooh, boobies" attitude, right? It's that kind of thinking that leads to exploitative sexuality and nudity in films in the first place. Far be it from me to make any artistic judgments without having seen the film, but I have an inkling that Natalie's nude scene in this film is probably far from "exploitative." (Reply to this) |

on Mar 21 2007 10:34 AM In reply to this comment (#858809) The number of Hollywood movies that portray Christians as evil pale in comparison to the number of Hollywood movies that portray atheists as bitter, empty, God-hating hedonists. And quite frankly, I don't see all the studios creating production branches for agnostics like Fox Faith. Time to get off your cross. You guys really aren't that persecuted. (Reply to this) |

on Mar 21 2007 11:05 AM im glad natalie didn't show too much to the camera. going nude is a cheap shot for an actress, and i've always respected natalie for not doing that. she's shown plenty of skin (in closer, and now goya's ghosts), but never totally nude for the audience. i hope she continues to keep her privates private. "Naked girls are a dime a dozen." -agreed. (Reply to this) |

![]() on Mar 22 2007 11:31 AM BAD MOVIE ALERT. When they are ready to post a female star's naked scenes freely on the net--- it's probably to lure in people to see the movie--- BECAUSE THEY ARE THE ONLY SCENES IN THE MOVIE--- which are worth the shitty celluloid they were printed on. Never liked CRANKY Natalie Portman anyway. She's not sexy--- she's just... well, CRANKY. She kept crying all thru STAR WARS. Since Havier Bardem shows himself to be a "Hollywood HATER"--- I guess he won't mind when this movie, starring him, burns and crashes in the boxoffice. But I guess, I'll be a HIT in Europe. Every chatty-to-the-demise, overlong, un-intersting film is considered "ART" over there. And can we PLEASE lay off the poor Christians already?! Every fucking new film shows them to be the "bad guys" and everyone else as "pinkish and innocent and earth loving"... Jeez, can't the IDIOTS who rule Hollywood, find other "bad guys" and try to muddy thier reputations?? That concieted IDIOT Dan Brown, already made TONS of cash doing that already! I suggest the Chinese... Kidding!! Kidding!! (Poor Chinese people--- they don't know what's coming...) (Reply to this) |

on Mar 22 2007 03:30 PM In reply to this comment (#858821) BAD POSTER ALERT First you judge Natalie Portman on the Star Wars trilogy where not one actor came out looking good. Then you blast Javier's (it's with a `J', by the way) hatred of Hollywood, only to blast the `idiots that rule Hollywood'. Nice job. And this myth that Hollywood always shows Christians in a bad light is absolute hogwash. There have been a few higher profile movies that portray hard-line Christians in a bad light, but overall, it's quite the opposite. Besides, Lord of the Rings, Chronicles of Narnia and loads of other subtlely themed Christian movies have raked in loads of money for the studios. In the end, that's what matters to them. It's why they've established Foxfaith, and why Walden Media has become so powerful. As I stated in another post. Christians love talking about how Hollywood portrays them so badly, but they're coming at a position of ignorance. On another note, name one movie that portrays an atheist in a good light. on Mar 23 2007 12:03 PM In reply to this comment (#858822) Highdough, I'm with you completely. For a soon-to-be-released movie which is sympathetic to those opposed to organized religion, yet still includes its own version of a more open and all-embracing spirituality, see "The Golden Compass." It's based on an excellent trilogy of young adult fantasy books by Phillip Pullman. (Reply to this) |

on Mar 25 2007 08:42 AM For the last time: The Spanish Inquisition is fucking evil. Now you girly Christians get your heads out of your asses already because this movie isn't just about you. You can thank the Napoleonic invasion for that. (Reply to this) |

on Mar 26 2007 10:59 AM In reply to this comment (#858822) The Lord of the Rings stories are not, contrary to popular belief, based off of any religion. Tolkien borrowed heavily in theme and context, but Tolkien was agnostic most of his adult life. He did find God in his sixties, often citing (gasp) C.S. Lewis as his main reason. I just love how the zealots compare every mythical aspect of LOTR to the bible. (Reply to this) |
