You wanna know why watching a ton of movies shapes your opinion different? Because you start to have better standards as to what's good. This movie may be great to someone who hasn't seen any of the comedy classics, but to people who've seen better and understand jokes, I'm guessing it's a pile of dogshit

This is an absolute bullshit argument. Did you forget the Marvel movies? Red? Die Hard? The Hangover? Bridesmaids? All critically acclaimed films. All as far from shakespeare as possible. The notion that film critics expect all movies to live up to impossible standards is bull and is only used by people who didn't even read the reviews, because I guarantee none of them said "Well, the accents were too American and didn't even RESEMBLE old english. I believe the audience rating on that one was just over 70. Having not seen this movie, I think I can safely say that it is better than "This is the End." It is obvious that critics hate Adam Sandler and love Seth Rogen. The fact of the matter is that this bias makes there ratings of both actors movies meaningless to me. The problem with that argument is your comparing audience scores from a film that is a month old to film that just came out 3 days ago, and always a majority of a first set of an audience who will see movie are going to like this film no matter how many flaws it has. I think people who don't like Adam Sandler or people who don't like the first grown ups are not going to see this movie on opening weekend. The point is after few weeks or at least when hits home video the audience score for grown ups 2 is going to drop fast. Hangover 3 and Good day to Die hard once had 88 percent and the other had 82 percent on its opening weekend but after couple weeks they both dropped to rotten score 46 percent and 43 percent. So yeah I would not make that argument just yet because there is a very good chance that audience score for grown ups 2 will drop lower then This is the end in a couple of weeks.

I simply stated a fact that every film that opens will always have high audience score because there most likely biggest fans of that franchise which are people who going like the film no matter how many flaws that film has and after couple of weeks the fan boy audience of that franchise is gone and then you will get the audience that are lot less forgiving.

and yeah It will drop The Original Grown ups has 59 percent audience approval, I doubt there is going to be 31 percent increase of people who did not like the first film but liked the second movie. Especially that Grown ups 2 is Carbon Copy Sequel of the original movie.
