Another Halo Teaser Clip!
He makes 45 more of these, and Blomkamp has got himself a full-length feature.

Remember that Neil Blomkamp Halo teaser-type thing we saw last month? We told you back then that it was only the first of several clips, and lo and behold, here's a second Halo short.

It's just under two minutes long, and like the first clip, it's probably more an example of what a live-action Halo might look and feel like than anything else -- there are a lot of quick cuts, lots of those hand-cam shakies the kids love, and bits and pieces of stuff from the games. But why are we standing around talking about it? Just watch the clip already:

Not a big fan of the games, and don't think that the movie will be very good. Probably catch it on DVD when it comes out.

Looks like it could be engaging action, but doesn't mean jack towards whether the movie will be any good. My money right now is on the movie being crap. It'll probably have some thin, boring, and worthless storyline like other action flops, queue Ultraviolet, House of the Dead, or Resident Evil.

weak- i thought this movie could potentially change the video game movie status, but we'll have to wait for the one and only Legend of Zelda

Keep in mind that this is in no way representative of what a final Halo movie would look like. These are just experiments - treats for the fans and mini-pitches to the studios. After all, WETA had already started making Halo props when the film was cancelled.

Currently, no studio has picked it up, but I'm sure someone will eventually. And Peter Jackson will only be involved if he gets his way and Blomkamp directs, so get used to him. So, to summarize, there is NO Halo movie, but there still might be.

Decent. It'll look better when it's an actual movie. And Halo definately has some story to it.
