Critic Review - Washington Post

The problem is that director Peter Berg, aided and abetted by Smith and Theron and third banana Jason Bateman, seem to have made it literally, not realizing its out-of-whack tonalities and grotesque plot twists were meant to be played for laughs.

Ladies and gentleman, the sites top critic is a typical overweight AMERICAN; who like most of you, is queasy at the slightest hint of an interracial relationship that goes beyond a buddy movie racist! Good cover Hunter and others, I'm surprised nobody said, "the ending is just as gloomy as Singers Superman, I hate this movie".
Come on guys, the Red Horseman is laughing; at least be honest. This was a great movie in spite of the cursing which I loath. An original twist on a boring introduction of a hero pattern and plot. It was a very good try, though no Franchise.

ok thats just rude to say for one (@ timdigit)... Honestly, i thought you gave a solid review stephen. I'm FUCKING sick of all the the critics on RT who think they're so goddamn clever using puns and analogies instead of giving a straightforward review. I honestly believe they use that method of criticizing for 1. to make themselves seem more intellectual, but more importantly 2. to slightly distort and add a level of ambiguousness to their review so that people can't directly pinpoint flaws in their critique. Its absolutely pathetic. And personally I think it makes them look stupid. Thank you Stephen Hunter for being straightforward.
