"Harry Potter" Teaser Trailer To Precede "Happy Feet" Nov. 17
The teaser trailer for "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" will hit theaters Nov. 17, Warner Bros. says. The trailer will precede the family comedy "Happy Feet."
"Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" is slated for release on July 13, 2007. As with past "Potters," the film stars Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson.

"So gang... We've got nothing to do until Nov. 17. What do you want to talk about?"

on Oct 11 2006 06:48 PM This is funny to me. the teaser comes out one year after the last harry potter film. The last film came out on NOV 18 2005. the teaser coms out nov 17 2006. Has any potter film been this clos together. (Reply to this) |

on Oct 11 2006 08:37 PM Hp 1 came out in 2001, Hp 2 came out in 2002, Hp 3 came out in 2004, and Hp 4 came out in 2005. So, yeah, they've always been coming out close together. If they want the actors (the kids) to stay the same, then they pretty much have to do them this fast. Personally can't wait for the trailer, even if we probably won't see much of anything. on Oct 12 2006 03:51 PM Bad news for Happy Feet Clearly the studio realizes that nobody really cares about "Happy Feet." But people do care about Harry Potter, so if they can hook some cobbled-together trailer to Happy Feet, they can create a "Harry Potter and the Order of the Happy Feet" buzz that will get folks to pay for a movie that they don't care about to see a mere trailer that they do care (rather too much) about. I believe there was a South Park episode on this topic (season 6?); see also "Star Wars 1 trailer + Wing Commander" (Reply to this) |
![]() on Nov 07 2006 07:50 AM In reply to this comment (#846412) yeah...either that or they think a lot of people are going to see happy feet so they chose to put the HP trailer with it similar to the way disney released a teaser trailer for Ratatoille with Cars and the Spiderman 3 trailer was attached to Superman Returns (Reply to this) |

on Nov 12 2006 05:47 PM In reply to this comment (#846407) Yeah! Guess what connections are funny!? The first trailer for gof came out in march of the penguins(a penguin movie) On the dvd for gof there was the trailer for happy feet(also a penguin movie) Then the trailer for ootp is in the premeir for Happy Feet on Nov 17 which is the traditional winter release date for harry potter......I don't think they did this on purpose but these are some weird coincidences. .....I'M SO EXCITED THOUGH!
