RT on DVD & Blu-Ray: The Harry Potter Wizard's Collection Arrives

There is no substitute for Joe Dante's original "Piranha". I thought the remake blew chunks, and this one doesn't look any better. That said, that's about all I can say about this week's releases. I know some little wizards will be very happy this Christmas, but nothing for me to get excited about.

The Harry Potter Box Set looks pretty awesome but I already own all the films on Blu-Ray so I would be kind off pointless for me to buy it, but still pretty cool. I also really want to see The Five Year Engagement.

The Wizard's Collection is cool, but not my cup of tea. I liked the movies but do not think they are among the greatest movies ever or even the last fifteen years like some do.

Piranha 3DD is a must for me and my friend who gets a kick out of extremely bad movies just like I do. The part in the trailer where the chick is in bed, having sex with her boyfriend, and her stomach starts moving because there is a piranha in it was by far one of the most ludicrous things I have ever seen, and the stuff that is hinted at following that revelation is the kind of euphoric stupid that reaches a level of preposturous-ness that it becomes sublime.

Holy shit there are a lot of special features, documentaries, and featurettes for Titanic! Not sure I have ever seen a movie with that many behind the scenes features.

Only thing of note this week is to upgrade my Titanic DVD to Blu Ray. I already have all the Potters on Blu and I haven't seen any of the newer films out.
