Critic Review - Wall Street Journal

Potions play a pivotal part in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and I wish I'd been able to find one for patience.

....the movie is rapid, and not boring at all. It is dark, and not all ****s and giggles. You dont need patience, you need a better taste in movies

This is an excellent review, and it is definitely not supposed to be "Rotten". If you read the article thoroughly, Morgensetern presents much more positive points about the film than negative ones. I don't understand why they thought it was rotten.

I agree; this review is actually more positive than it is negative.

Yeah, this was a fairly positive review, I really think that if it had a different title, it would have had a fresh tomato.

The pace slows down at the pivotal moments. It's a nice indicator for when you should really pay attention. Usually the people who recognize this find themselves the most "ah-haa"s near the end.

Only real HP who actually read and enjoyed the book would understand that this movie was the worst Harry Potter Adaptation ever.

I read and enjoyed the book, and I thought this was one of the best Potter films.

I disagree with some points of your review. I wouldn't say that this movie was so much as slow-paced but more on the steadier side than any of the previous films. I do, however, agree that the better performances were put on by Dumbledore, Snape and the other side characters, rather than by Harry. I think that's what you were trying to say in your review, am I right?

This was the worst movie in the franchise. It took one of the best books and left out the important plot points how could anybody have liked this movie. It was boring and didn't come close to the books flair. I agree completely with a critic for once.
