"10,000 B.C.," 1 Teaser Trailer
As many of the folks who turned out for the opening day of "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" could tell you, the teaser trailer for director Roland Emmerich's upcoming "10,000 B.C." has been released. If you've got a weakness for loincloths and woolly mammoths, this will be your news item of the day.
Cinematical tips us off to the teaser's presence online -- and helpfully provides a link -- while asking the question on everyone's mind, specifically:
Can Roland Emmerich's "10,000 B.C." survive if it doesn't feature New York City either under water, under ice or being attacked by aliens and/or giant lizards?
The teaser, somewhat obviously, doesn't answer that; it's really just a few seconds of quick-cut action shots, heavy on the aforementioned mammoths. This is fine -- teasers are supposed to raise more questions than they answer, and the movie doesn't come out for months -- and this one clearly has only one major goal, which is to light a fire under everyone who rushed out to see "300." Now that your curiosity's been piqued, click below for the article and/or the teaser!

smartmoviekid writes: on Jul 12 2007 11:01 PM yes it really looks excellent hopefully mr.Emmerich can create a real masterpiece when hes out of destroying urban areas with the items mentioned in the above article. i also hope its not a Apocalypto rip-off either with special effects and mammoths. i hope its an immersive ,intense adventure that really takes us to that primitive, ancient time in style! highdough writes: on Jul 14 2007 01:02 AM In reply to this comment (#923008) When a very violent and gory movie, with no stars, filmed in a language almost no one speaks anymore about an event that never took place, makes nearly $100 million world-wide (including $50 million in North America), I think that is exceptional. As for 10,000 BC, the teaser makes it look somewhat interesting, but full of major anachronisms (pyramids, ships, breast implants). (Reply to this) |

agapeguido writes: on Sep 02 2007 06:55 AM Obviously, XeternityX wouldn't know a good movie if it kicked him in the face. The awsome things they are going with cgi these days are makeing movies better and better by the day. Movies that you wouldn't normaly want to see are now worth seeing because of the great cgi effects. looks good, can't wait to see it (Reply to this) |
