Because the film is so glossy, so flippant in its presentation of the world that author J.K. Rowling has spent her sizable novels dissecting, that I still don't have a good idea what all the fuss is about.
This is a fragment, but anyway, the movie was made mainly for Harry Potter fans. It's a fuss for us because we love Harry Potter and like to have a film adaptation for the books. The reason this "fuss" is so widespread is because a lot of people like or love the books, and some of us even grew up with them.
