Critic Review - New York Magazine

The filmmakers want to show us a magical world that is, at the same time, wholly believable. They want to create matter-of-fact miracles, but what they end up with is mostly just plain matter-of-fact.

I thought the movie was lacking in a lot departments, especially the story. Like most HP movies they just aren't that good. Not sure why these stories are so popular since I usually enjoy a good fantasy story. Harry Potter has to be the biggest wimp who relies on his friends to save him ans the bad guy is always around but not (voldemort) terrible movies. If you want a good series read The DeathGate Cycle by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman...puts this drivel to shame.
