More Accurately: Hating Erica Jerkin. Only Australian film I have seen this year. In some ways it is a clever social satire, with many humorous scenes. However the main character is at times annoying, weird, depressing. Hating Alison? Not really.

Despite the acting, it's a good film. Hating all the characters off course

The book is far better, but it's been put together fairly well and some moments are actually very funny. It's a good story for pre-teens to learn to get out of their own heads and think about other people's problems on occasion.

backwater aussie teenage drama queen meets perfect prissy princess. more drama ensues. surprisingly, when honestly compared with teenage schoolgirl dramas of the same genre, this movie holds up quite well. the leads and the strict teacher all give credible performances.

What a wonderful Australian Film. There were many fine performances but I loved Richard Carter as Lennie (Wildside detective). The lead Saskia is extraordinary. Can't believe so little has been made of it.

Characters also seem older than they should be-for what I expected the film to be, it didn't cut through.
One of the worst films I've ever seen. You are better off watching Mean Girls than this- it is cliched and plus the characters weren't original and didn't have their own 'flavour' or something special.
