A Broadway veteran and Trinidadian native, Headley incorporates little of these influences into her pleasantly straightforward style, with the exception of the dancehall-influenced "Rain," which features Shaggy. Other standout songs include the acoustic-tinged title track, the slow jam "Wait a Minute," and the shuffling "Losing You." Although Headley doesn't break much new ground here, she continues to showcase her emotive vocals in the light of solid R&B/pop tunes, making this an album that will easily appeal to fans of her earlier work.
