Outraged and ashamed that her own son has become addicted to heroin, middle-class mother Pilar (Adriana Ozores) starts to tell her story to whomever will listen in the hopes of changing the public's perception of drug addiction and drug trafficking. This intense drama is based on a true story and illustrates the difference everyday people can make when they are brave enough to stand up for what they believe in.
