"Hit & Run" is merely the latest picture, more modestly scaled than most, to give the catch-all notion of the B movie a bad name, deserving of a new category: the D movie.

Yes, this movie was one big car chase but that is not a bad thing. The romance was genuine and the cars were terrific. Not every film needs to change the world. That is the tragedy of the "Blockbuster". We have forgotten to enjoy films but instead are always looking to be blown away.

Actually Melissa, Phillips was one of the critics that didn't particularly care for The Dark Knight Rises.
