A popular staple on cable television in the 1980s, THE HITCHHIKER presented a series of suspenseful stand-alone stories. Each begins with an introduction from The Hitchhiker (Page Fletcher), often premeditating grim, dramatic storylines that tend to focus on the dark side of the human psyche. This release gathers together 10 episodes from the second season, and features guest stars such as Kirstie Alley, Fred Ward, Jerry Orbach, Elliot Gould, and Gene Simmons.
