Writer-director-producer Glen Stephens does occasionally have grim fun, but something as irredeemably sadistic as this packaged as entertainment is almost depressing.

Indifferently made and luridly gory exploitation pic from coming off like formulaic fiction of the most repulsive sort.

Hoboken Hollow makes us not care. Its victims are characterized so one-dimensionally and unsympathetically that their fates don't resonate; the violence is empty and ineffective, senseless and not the least bit scary.

Audience Reviews for Hoboken Hollow

The film claims to be a horror, but provides nothing to make the viewer frightened. I think only one moment in the entire film made even the most nervous in the room jump. Hoboken Hollow relied purely on blood, gore and violence, attempting to shock and disgust. It failed to do even that. The characters were so one dimentional that no one could possibly feel for them, making even the most dispicable scenes of torture irrelevant.

sometimes u see good films, and this is definatly not one of them, it is by far the worst horror film ever made, you would rather be the victims in this movie than watch it, its a copy of texas chainsaw massacer and the hitcher, overall cheap, uninventive, unimaginative and boring.
