Single mother Paula (Jessalyn Gilsig) is a former Olympic hockey hopeful who now spends her days holding down a blue-collar job, caring for her young son, and playing the occasional game with her predominantly male coworkers. When the men go too far with their chauvinistic teasing, a frustrated Paula throws down the gauntlet and challenges them to a men-versus-women hockey match. Comic hijinx ensue as Paula struggles to whip a team of dysfunctional female hockey players into shape while making time for her job, her son, and a new love interest. Canadian actors and real-life hockey fans Jason Priestley and Margot Kidder round out the cast for a zany but affectionate homage to their national pastime. [More]
