This wacky made-for-TV film is the fourth installment in the popular Home Alone series. Mike Weinberg plays the criminal-foiling kid, Kevin McCallister -- the role that made Macaulay Culkin a megastar in the first two films. This time around, Kevin goes head to head against ... French Stewart! This isn't even going to be close!

Recycled gags with none of the original's charm.
From the unappealing cheapish opening titles to the murky production values, it's immediately obvious "Home Alone 4" isn't playing in the same park as its beloved predecessor...sad
Tired humour and no new gags worth remembering. The charm of the first two and the dark enthusiasm of the third are no where to be found and unlike the first three the lead protaganist is a terrible actor.

Anyone who can enjoy a crappy made-for-TV sequel like this, I calmly pity you. There was a reason this was made for ONLY television: it was too stupid to release in theaters, and it would have become the largest box-office bomb to date.
