Cancelled by the UPN after only five episodes but resuscitated by the Cartoon Network's Adult Swim for an additional four-year run, the animated television series HOME MOVIES earned its loyal cult following with a satiric sense of humor reminiscent of THE SIMPSONS and a Squigglevision style of animation pioneered by DR. KATZ, PROFESSIONAL THERAPIST (though it was later replaced by Flash animation in the second season). Created by Loren Bouchard and Brendon Small, the series followed the trials
