Yup, Horton Hears a Who will be a HUGE hit. Will most likely beat out Ice Age: The Meltdown.

Geez, i don't really get the appeal of the flick but i'm guess
Horton - $40 million
$50 seems way too excessive. Ice Age 2's huge opening was based on goodwill from the first film. This isn't a pixar film, just a doctor seuss tale and does he really have that big of a following? I know the march break firday will help with the kids but i don't see it getting any higher than $45 mill max.

Maybe! There hasn't been anything worth watching for families out there. If the Hannah Montana movie or 10000 BC can make mid thirties, a movie that is rated G will make at least 10 million more. Some kids are out of school, big names, warmer weather in the Midwest, and a drought of family movies will make this a big weekend. I just hope Doomsday doesn't suck!

Horton was a lot of fun. Really cute. The new trailer for Wall-E was way better too.
