Saw this trailer before The Simpsons the other day. Elephants don't drink through their trunks. But at least the female cows don't have male voices in this one.

Whatt??? Jim Carrey was the only great thing about the Grinch! It was Mike myers that killed seus, with cat in the hat! This one looks like it could be good but i think we needed a way better trailer.

I guess they will never learn that you can't stretch one song into an album.
Dr. Seuss' stories are SHORT and work on that level.

This trailer is just more proof of that.
All dialog not by Seuss will suck just as it always has.

I agree, The Grinch was amazing, as long as you're talking about the original with Boris Karloff. However, if you're calling the Jim Carrey version of The Grinch amazing then I only have one thing to say:

i got excited when i saw the beginning of the trailer. i knew what it was about after maybe 5-10 seconds, because that was one of my favorite stories growing up. but i dunno, i just wasn't too impressed... seemed really dumb :(

Drab visuals?? Dude, that trailer had some of the best cartoon-CGI I've ever seen. The detail of the fur and what not felt like inklings of the-next-level of CGI animation. Maybe that was just me though...

I thought it looked pretty decent, actually. Don't know what you people want (besides the obvious, "don't make the movie" issue... it's Hollywood, you should be use to it by now).

Grammar lesson for all:

It's "Simpsons" not "Simpson's" ... When you say the latter, ie. "The Simpson's Movie was great" then you are implying that there was only one Simpson and it's his/her movie. "Simpsons" is a plural, "Simpson's" implies posession.

In fact, you never use an apostrophe to pluralise anything. You never watch "movie's" or dislike "teenager's" ... no apostrophes!

I think it looks interesting... Remember It is a "kids" movie and the voice cast and credits look pretty impressive. maybe if some people stopped being so negative about things you might actually enjoy something.... just a thought.

I think it looks pretty damn sweet, one of the better animated films on the way right now. A lot of the people at my theater seemed to like the preview. And The Grinch was pretty damn good, The Cat in the Hat was horrible though.

it looks like a fun movie. steve carrell was in that evan movie, but with that exception, he's been great in everything he's been in, so i'll trust that he's picked a good one again.
