IT'S A KIDS MOVIE!! Wow some really smart people working at the Washington Post. I have to agree, really Sad.

Kids make the best critics as they go to see a movie without a predetermination to hate it like most of the other critics I have read today. Mine give the film a two thumbs and two big toes up rating that means more to me than your idea of what a movie is.

It's a frickin kids MOVIE!!! How can some critics be so stupid, now I am sorry that you don't have kids, or argue a family movie to be more adult oriented.

Why should a kids movie be bent over backwards and raped like a new Indiana Jones movie. You sir, are pathetic...

What are you talking about? As a dad who is an avid classic horror movie monster fan I enjoyed the fun they had with the genre and the father/daughter coming of age story it told. If you are not a parent then STHU and don't speak about something you know nothing about, if you are a parent then your children have my pity.
