When his ex-wife's dead body washes up in front of his Malibu beach house, Michael Jardine becomes the main murder suspect. But he's more preoccupied with his sexual conquest of Dara, a mysteriously seductive woman who keeps re-appearing in his life. Although his ailing father is counting on him to run Hourglass, the family's fashion design business, Michael neglects his duties and lets his sexual obsession take over his life. In order to have a tryst with Dara, he even leaves some high-stakes decision-making in the hands of his incompetent brother, Jimmy. Then, after completing a tough business deal, one of Michael's associates is found killed. And the homicide detective in charge starts to see a pattern -- one leading right to Jardine. [More]
