The third season of the hit drama HOUSE opens not with a bang, but in the aftermath of one: as Dr. House (Hugh Laurie) recovers from a gunshot wound (received in the second-season finale), he finds that--oddly enough--he no longer has pain from his previous injuries. After solving his own medical mystery, the snarky diagnostician and his underlings go on to cure a woman with yoga-induced paralysis, a cancer patient with hallucinations, and a celebrity do-gooder with TB. In the fourth season, House must assemble a new team of assistants, and forces newcomers (played by Kal Penn, Olivia Wilde, and Peter Jacobsen) to compete for the position via irreverent, game-show-style contests. This two-year collection includes every episode from HOUSE’s third and fourth seasons; see individual titles for additional details. [More]
