Howl's Moving Castle moves -- in short, choppy, jumpy jerks that will never make anyone forget how fluid the truly great hand-drawn cartoons look by comparison.
HAHAHA! *I laugh in your face* No offence Roger, but, it seems like you totally tossed aside the wonderful plot, the lessons to be learned, and how unforgettably lovable the characters are... But, hey that's just my random opinion.
Its sad that a "top" critic can't get pass the "crappy" animation. Not trying to be a Miyazaki fan boy like the others that posted in these coments, I would just aprectiate a review on the other aspects of the film.
Wow. This movie had a whole heap of amazing animation, back grounds and more. I'm outraged by people who think they know things about animation, when they don't...
The plot, the characters and themes were amazing. If you don't like anime/anime style, you shouldn't rate anime movies. Just my opinion.
Well... a critic that finds "The Lorax" : "gorgeous and glorious" and Spirited away "a howling bore" Is not to be taken too serious regarding his opinions of films in the medium of animation.
Hector Gonzalez
