Scorsese transforms this innocent tale into an ardent love letter to the cinema and a moving plea for film preservation.

Very Disappointing movie. Slow moving and believe that kids would be bored except for the 3D version. Don't understand why famous directors always seem to get the favorable reviews even when the movie is not a good entertainment value. Most of the people that paid for the showing I was at, had unfavorable comments upon exiting the theater. Go figure....

One of the most dissapointing movies I've ever watched. POINTLESS, BORING, SENSELESS, RIDICULOUS! Why is this damn movie nominated for the Oscar in 11 categories? No acting here, No clear subject, the filming was ok nothing outstanding, the script was bad, the dialogs senseless. PLEASE! WHAT KIND OF MOVIE WAS THIS? Just tell me.
