sadly, that seems to be what did happen; i know FAR too many people who only wanted to see smashing & mindless aggression, but this Hulk movie [to me] dove deeper into emotions, drama, & background & ended up painting a wonderful piece that many idiots cannot truly appreciate because they didn't understand the ending or didn't like that he chose to stay single.

im glad someone else shares my take on this movie; if only the new CGI Hulk was put into this movie - then there would be a perfect Hulk film for sure.
