There are terrible movies and there are loathsome movies. And then there's that rare breed so idiotic, exploitative and sickening one wishes they could be scrubbed from memory.
Okay, I can understand not liking "The Human Centipede," but this guy just pisses me off. I get the distinct feeling that he didn't actually watch the movie. Was it necessary to introduce the female characters (without using their names, natch) as "nubile?" What a creep, and that's before we even get to the declaration of "stupidest possible choices"... not sure how he figures that one either, but there's a definite sense of they-deserved-maybe-not-"it"-but-something-bad! Honestly, it seems like he's blaming them for being alone. Where's his derision of all the male victims? Wait, does he even KNOW there were male victims? And "full of gore," what? It's literally the least gory horror flick I've ever seen, which was clearly an intentional move. "Choose not to" escape? The one time it looks like they have a chance, the Dr's actually watching the whole time. "Over the top"...er, duh, as opposed to the moderate, nuanced villians in films like "Halloween?" Oh, and apparently the L.A. Times is a "family newspaper." WTF?
