Hunt to Kill Reviews

I was surprised to see three The Expendables stars who play villains reappear in this Steve Austin action-flick. Austin is just like Rambo and can fall down the rocky sides of mountains, get stabbed or shot repeatedly, take massive blows from hard objects, and bleed like a stuck pig, yet keep coming - God, I love action movies fro these sorts of implausibilities.
Gil Bellows finds his inner beast in this movie, no conscience, willing to break any sort of possible negotiation for that bag of bonds - the embodiment of the repellent action movie villain.
The fight scenes and action set pieces are well choreographed and executed and the team behind this must be congratulated on there efforts.

A seriously bad ass and blisteringly exhilarating edge of your seat action-packed thriller. It's slick, smart, well-crafted and well-paced. It's explosive and pulse-pounding escapist fun at it's best. A solid and thrilling adventure that delivers the goods with strong cast. It's Cliffhanger meets First Blood. It's filled with stone-cold intensity, crisp suspense and sensational action. A terrific action movie that you just cant pass up. Steve Austin is terrific, he's doing his thing playing the action hero we want to see, one of the great things about Austin is that he never over acts, he always adds the right amount of substance and energy to a performance. Gil Bellows is excellent, he is such a great bad guy and has a hell of a great time playing this role. Gary Daniels is great in his bad guy role delivering some great stunt work in the action sequences.

2 1\2 stars outta 5 is being awefully kind! Stone Cold Steve Austin is the star in this, he cannot act whatsoever however he gets points just for being cool as he is! This movie has 'b' written all over it, ever now and then pushing the 'a' level then rapidly falling back down to 'b'. Steve Austin is an ex border patrol officer who after his partner is killed (Eric Roberts) he spends his life raising his attitude prone daughter in the mountains. After hearing that his daughter has been up to know good yet once again and has been detained by the local sheriff's dept he travels into town only to meet up with a gang of theives who are looking for their former boss who had left them for death. Looking to issue out a little payback so to speak and also re-capture their money from the last job performed they take Steve and his daughter captive in order to escort them through the woods to find their prey only the tables could be turned and the hunters could find themselves the hunted. Not a bad movie, I am not a fan of movies that are cheaply made or 'b' movies if you will, however this kept me entertained through out although i highly doubt i would re watch it again!

I was really liking this movie up until the last 20 mins. or so. It had a good serious tone, and the directing and acting was good. Then the movie falls into silliness. The last act felt like they just ripped it badly from Rambo: First Blood....but not as good. There was one scene that reminded me of when Arnold was getting ready for the final confrontation with Predator, it felt completely taken from Predator. I just wished the movie had kept it's serious tone until the end instead of reducing itself to action movie silliness. Still I was entertained and that deserves 3 stars.

Awful action vehicle for Austin. Dire plot, much homoerotic macho grappling and a movie classic, the survival watch strap that transforms into a 100 meter, dual core, 1/4 inch nylon climbing rope. A must for all lovers of bad cinema.

Nothing original, but the cast is ok.

when I Hunt I Hunt To Kill! Stone Cold dropped the ball on this movie at times it was quiet boring, the background music was a bit over the top.
The Storyline started off good then it just went down from there, Some of the fight seens were good and bad at the same time.

It's amazing that an actor can play the exact same character in every single film - Of course, Van Damme's been doing it for years, but Austin seems to be ready to take the reigns.
'Hunt to Kill' is a bottom of the barrel action flick, with an ending so ridiculous, I'll be laughing for days.

Austin really needs to take some acting classes. He has so much potential as a action hero but lacks basic acting skills. If they had changed some of the stupid 80's style one liners (they were really bad and porly written)and had another lead, this movie might have had some potential.

What a waste of 2 hours. Total nonsense. Gun sound before actually being fired and you can see Austin being hoisted up when climbing the hill. Absolute GARBAGE!

This film has nothing but problems with its bad writing, bad action scenes and average camerawork. Anyway thi movie is about a policeman (Steve Austin) who has his daughter held hostage so that they can get Stone Cold's character to help thme find this one traitor of theirs who stole the money that they stole. Long story short, the story is crap and its main villains are so stupid and cookie-cutter that they don't know what a compass is or what the internet is. Because of this fact this film's antagonists are stupid, female abusing douchebags with no redeemable qualities whatsoever and for some stupid reason Stone Cold's character has a forensics device implanted in his brain because he ssovles clues far too quicvkly which would never happen in real life. Anyway this movie is just another shitty Stone Cold movie, its nothing special. 1.5/10

Too many unbelievalities. Eg totally deadly bow-and-arrow killer good guy could have picked off bad guys in forest, like sitting ducks, but for some unknown reason (maybe I missed it - attention wandering a bit) elects to discard bow and arrows and track bad guys armed only with a couple of hand made spears, thereby prolonging film for an extra hour. Why does totally evil murderous armed villain suddenly turn into a wimp towards film's end, and allow himself to be chased by unarmed hero, like a scared cat? Given my time again, and knowing what I now know, I would not watch this film, although it sucked me in at the start.

Pretty lame and predictable. Arnold owns the one-liners, not

1 van de slechste films sinds tijden. Lachwekkend slecht acteren en enkele aardige vechtscenes hebben ervoor gezorgt dat ik het einde haalde.

I loved Steve Austin when I was a wrestling nut and I still love him today in his movies. This one falls under the "so bad it's good" category. There's so many mistakes and rediculous twists to this movie it's hilarious but that's why it can be entertaining. All of Austin's movies seem to be the same plot and this one is no different. Considering the low budget, limited talent and little to no direction behind the camera, Hunt To Kill isn't a bad little action flick. Like I said, entertaining at the very least. I was a little upset Eric Roberts was killed off in the opening scenes though.
55% From me. And that's based off the obvious lack of resources they had in making this one. Can we get Dwayne Johnson and Steve Austin in an action flick together? One can only hope...
