Photo Gallery Update Extravaganza! I Am Legend, Saw IV, and More!
Summary
A memorable summer comes to an end and studios are now in the finalizing stages of their fall release schedule. But you know what that means for us right now: new pictures. Lots of 'em! Think autumn movies are just stuffy Oscar bait? We've got the vampires, comedies, torture porn, and British Invasion tunes to prove you otherwise. Back to Article

And by the way, Typhoon20, could you provide a link to whatever site said Richard Matheson approved it? I just want to make sure it isn't just a rumor. (Reply to this) |

GLADIATOR MONKEY writes: on Aug 20 2007 03:47 PM Will Smith's addition to a movie acts as a sort of intellectual vacuum, automatically reducing what little, if any, meaningfulness the story may have contained. I Am Legend's chances of succeeding for me, beyond the level of typical B-movie trash, was permanently crippled when they announced him as the lead. This is just lazy casting; casting for money%u2019s sake, casting simply for mass appeal and not for the betterment of the film. The problem with putting Will Smith in a film is that he has a target audience that typically wants it's entertainment loud, obvious, short on plot, and about as complicated as 'Hot Pocket' instructions. Expect this movie to be ridiculous at best. (Reply to this) |
