Michelle Pfeiffer (HAIRSPRAY) plays a woman who may be established in her life and career, but who has far to go in the world of love. Meanwhile, her daughter (Oscar nominee Saoirse Ronan, ATONEMENT) has romantic struggles of her own, and Mother Nature (Tracey Ullman) interferes from the sidelines. [More]

Reviews for I Could Never Be Your Woman
...has been infused with a distinctly over-the-top sensibility that effectively drains the proceedings of anything even resembling authenticity.
As an older woman who has built her career on a keen understanding of youth culture, she [Director Amy Heckerling] has a lot to say about Rosie's small world.
It's a pleasant diversion -- an enjoyable romantic comedy that has enough going for it to make it worth a recommendation.
It's smart and warm, and if Heckerling loses her grip a few times, it's only because she's squeezing so hard.
Very nearly an entertaining, lightweight comedy, except for one flaw: its message is about as subtle as those in a Disney sports movie.
A desperately unfunny mix of tepid showbiz satire and formulaic romantic comedy.
a rather ignominious defeat for a "comeback" performance from one of the great stars
A direção de Heckerling é irregular e a montagem é assustadoramente descuidada, mas Pfeiffer e (especialmente) Rudd conferem charme suficiente para tornar o filme divertido.
