The psychological thriller THE I INSIDE features the uncertainty and anxiety of time-traveling and amnesia films such as THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT and MEMENTO. Ryan Phillippe stars as Simon, who awakens in a hospital with no memory of the last two years. When he discovers that his brother Peter (Robert Sean Leonard) is dead and that he is married to Anna (Piper Perabo), a woman he has no recollection of, he sets out to discover what has happened to him and why he cannot remember it. Both helping and frustrating his investigation is the fact that he seems to be shifting back and forth between the present and the time before his memory loss. Is he really traveling through time, or is his amnesia just the sign of a greater madness? THE I INSIDE is a time hopping film that maintains its ambiguity until the very end. [More]

  • The I Inside
  • Ryan Phillippe (GOSFORD PARK, CRUEL INTENTIONS) leads a hot young cast in this riveting psychological thriller. When Simon (Phillippe) awakens in the hospital after surviving a near-fatal accident, amnesia has erased the last two years from his memory. He learns that his brother (Robert Sean Leonard --DRIVE, DEAD POETS SOCIETY) was killed, he has married a woman he doesn't remember (Piper Perabo -- CHEAPER BY THE DOZEN, COYOTE UGLY) . . . and he's haunted by strange visions of the woman he loved (Sarah Polley -- DAWN OF THE DEAD, GO). Soon, he starts to uncover the truth behind his brother's death and unravel the unbelievable turns his life has taken! If you liked the hit thriller MEMENTO, you're sure to love THE I INSIDE.

The I Inside is a well-produced little thriller that relies almost entirely on its storytelling angle to survive and then lets us down at the finish.

Revela-se decepcionante, limitando-se a reciclar aspectos empregados de forma mais inteligente em obras similares.

It’s a nice, low expectations thriller that works.
